Veterinary Medical Imaging (VMI) X-ray and Ultrasound Services
Veterinary Medical Imaging provides seven day a week support for radiology (x-rays) review services, by Board Certified Specialists (Diplomates of American College of Veterinary Radiologist). The Pet Emergency Center has all cases reviewed by our radiology partner. Typically cases are reviewed within 12 hour and includes an electronic written report.
Additionally, we contract services with VMI for ultrasound imaging, performed during normal weekdays (Monday-Friday). Ultrasound services are also available on referral basis – please contact our office for additional information on this service.
While, our doctors have extensive experience in most surgical procedures common in emergency practices (exploratory abdominal surgery, wound repair and fracture stabilization), we are partnered with Veterinary Specialty Group. VSG doctors are all Board Certified Surgeons -(Diplomates of American College of Veterinary Surgeons).
The group is independent of the Pet Emergency Center and operates throughout Northern California (and beyond). VSG surgeons are available to provide surgical services for advance surgical procedures both in-patient as well for referral practices. Services by specialist are on appointment basis.
Support for neurologic services (diseases and injury specific to the brain and nervous system) are provided by Dr Gregg Kortz, Diplomate ACVIM and associates. CVNNS is an independent practice, located within the 1100 Atlantic Street, Roseville building. Doctors are board certification is in both neurology and neurosurgery.
